I absolutely loved this and I can totally relate! Being an empath and an introvert is a combination I consider a super power, especially in a world where loud voices seem to dominate...
Perfect personality profile! I never took a ‘sales’ job, I was more on the creative side. But I remember being in meetings and watching that ‘sales pitching’. I hated it. As an INFJ/P, I could see the problem and as a ‘creative’ find a solution. That’s our super power.
This was such a great article and thank you for opening my eyes to the concept of ambiverts! For years, I've always described myself as an extrovert - able to talk to anyone, anywhere, anytime. But I lead with empathy and curiosity, and am far more interested in genuine connection and making sure the other person feels seen and valued, so maybe I'm more of an ambivert than I realized! Thanks for the great lesson and what a wonderful story. It sounds like you're a fantastic sales person and I hope Ethan has found his humanity over time.
Thanks for your feedback Emily - Im glad you enjoyed the article. The term amvivert was new to me before I researched my article and makes a lot if sense.
